Our focus is on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, defence, and government projects, and we proudly have a long history of providing high-quality structural steel across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
NEACH offers a detailed approach to complex projects in both tier 1 & 2 sectors. We deliver projects consistently in the $5m to $20m contract value range to a high level of quality whilst maintaining cost efficiency.
We are proudly not only supporting our local economy but believe that Australia needs sovereign capability in manufacturing to sustain our high quality of life.
We continually upgrade our outputs year on year alongside a sustainable mindset, adopting the latest technologies, hunting efficiency and excellence to support our clients and provide a future for our industry and team.
Our Journey
Founded in 1975 as Noosa Marine and General Engineering by Henry (Spud) Garbacz and his wife Liz.
Starting with humble beginnings as a boiler maker and driving a panel van and trailer, Spud was instrumental in many well-known Sunshine Coast structures, including the Cooroy Brickworks, Cooroy Commonwealth Bank, and ‘The Hastings’ accommodation in Noosa Heads.
Spud combined with North Coast Crane Hire in 1989 and became Noosa Engineering and Crane Hire.
In 2011, our current Managing Director - Ryza took over the baton, taking full ownership and rebranded the company to NEACH.
Under Ryza’s leadership NEACH has grown to service tier 1 and 2 industries and maintains year on year growth and leading performance in the Australian steel industry.
Our History
Circa 1978
Early 1979 Our first site vehicle and trailer.
1980 - Madills Gympie was one of our first projects.
1982 Our workshop in Leo Alley Drive, Noosaville. The first in the industrial estate.
1985 - Our workshop newly built.
1976 Northcoast Cranes was an early part of our business. Fishing a car out of Noosa River.
1985 NEACH was Noosa Marine and General Engineering in the early days.
1985 The Cooroy Brickworks . Our first large scale job.
1985 Cooroy Brickworks being expanded.
